Device Distribution

A limited number of Chromebooks and iPads are available for you to borrow, if you need a device to participate in online instruction.

How to request a device

If you are currently enrolled at QC and need a device to complete your coursework, go to https://support.qc.cuny.edu/support/home, and fill out a ticket requesting a device.

  • More information about these devices: http://www.cuny.edu/loaners

  • We will mail the loaner device to you. You will need to confirm your address.

  • The period of the loan is through the end of the semester you borrow it. We will post any updates here about possible extensions of that loan period.

  • There is no option to buy the device.

Shipping details

Chromebooks and iPads with cases are going out via UPS direct ship:

  • UPS drivers will not leave a package at a door or alone. They will only deliver packages to a person who can acknowledge the delivery.

  • UPS drivers will ask for a verbal signature where they will record the name and contact number for the person that accepts the delivery. There will be no physical signature.
